For years we dreamed of having a
clear direction for tourism. This 2026, that dream finally became a reality.
The Tourism Division proudly
announces its biggest accomplishment this year: Our Municipal Tourism
Development and Cultural Plan is now DONE, APPROVED, and ADOPTED!
What does this mean?
It means our plan was not just
written, it was approved by the Municipal Tourism Council and adopted
by the Sangguniang Bayan through an official Resolution. It is now an
official, legal, and binding roadmap for Loreto.
This is historic because this is
the FIRST comprehensive Tourism and Cultural Plan in the history of Loreto.
With this Plan, Loreto's tourism
is no longer by chance, it is by design. From the preservation of Campintac
Black Beach No. 2 Where Freedom Landed, to the development of our
waterfalls, beaches, and cultural heritage, everything is now planned and
anchored on sustainable and community-based tourism.
This Plan is our promise: That
tourism in Loreto will benefit our people, protect our culture, and preserve
our environment.
Thank you to the Municipal Tourism Council, the Sangguniang Bayan, DOT Caraga, PTCAO, and all stakeholders who made this possible. This is for Loreto. This is for Dinagat Islands!
